After having worked with megan to create a smaller-scale music video, we wanted to make something that obscured the performance and utilized stock videos in a novel treatment of footage. We wanted to create something that factored in the song's nostalgia through the use of archival footage, and wanted to emphasize the low-fidelity, homemade recording style through an arts-and-crafts type of animation encapsulated in moving images.
